About US tariffs

Update 16/09/2025:
US shipping times seem to be the same as before the de minimis change (6-7 working days). Yay!

On 29 August 2025 the de minimis exemption ended. Packages with a value under $800 are no longer be exempt from tariffs. This applies to anything you order from me!

What does this mean for you?

Royal Mail have changed their US shipping to a PDDP (Postal Delivery Duties Paid) service. This means that customs and handling fees will be paid up front when postage is purchased. This means that when your order is sent, it shouldn't be held up unnecessarily at the border because the duties are already paid.

To handle these extra costs shipping rates to the US have been increased to include the relevant duties on each item. For items manufactured in China this is 30% (charms, holographic and foil prints). For those manufactured in the UK, 10% (plain prints, stickers). In addition to this, Royal Mail charges a handling fee of 50p per package.
